Finding your balance

Hi there and welcome back!
It seems we're not in control of our lives. Some strange power is making us work and harder for nothing.
If you look around, you'll find all of us running. From morning till night we just follow a routine and live like zombies.

A more aware life is a step forward towards finding the inner peace. Start to think about life and death. Here today gone tomorrow. This brings a sense of detachment. Once you know that ultimately you'll have to leave all behind. Nothing will be taken to the other world.

This sense of detachment is again misconceived by many as not caring about the world you live in. It's actually the opposite. Once you are detached, you're not greedy anymore and you can GIVE.
You can start to care about others. You become more aware of the unity of life.

Again, you must not overdo. The blog that i'm writing is not for go-getters. It's about people like me who want to SLOW DOWN and DEMYSTIFY existence.

Finding my inner balance is very important to me. I have faced numerous instances in my life where it was a DEAD END. It seemed like now i should finish my life. But magically something inside me pulled me out of all such situations.

I've begun to realize that the more i feel connected to this inner thing, the more i am ENERGIZED, the more i am at PEACE. The inner balance is achieved by connecting to this inner thing. Let's call it 'Inner thing' for now.

Risking it all

Hello everyone who's reading this.
I guess well begun is half done is a popular idiom. For me, How well you begin is important. If you want to find a brighter world out there, you need to let it go.........

Let it go completely. That means not even the memory of the past is with you. It's like jumping from a cliff or an airplane. No one gets anything from clinging to the dead past.

Once you take the leap you are sure to reach somewhere. This is not just theory. From my life experience i can certainly tell you that. I never followed what normally is called the best practice. The best practice is only for stopping your growth.

I remember when i was out of college looking for a job, i was so unsure. Lot of advice from lots of people. For 1 year i couldn't do anything. I was so afraid of leaving the comfort of my home. And then i reached a point where i just snapped. I resolved to get away from all the nonsense that i had to hear from others such as"
 "Why don't you do something?"
"Why don't you pick up a job?"
"You are a burden to everyone".......... etc.

So i left home and i resolved to become financially independent. I've had so many times in my life when i've FOUND A WAY only when i decided to let it go......... COMPLETELY.

So, my life lesson is:
"RISK IT ALL and GO...........OUT THERE".... Your dreams can become reality. You only have to leave.. leave the past. Fall from a cliff , Jump from past.

Starting up and slowing down!

Well, the reason i have begun writing a blog is the reason i've begun writing a blog.
No, i'm not drunk. My name is Ankush, a supposedly zen buddhist student who is trying to demystify life.

Listen to what most of the modern day mystics have to say about demystifying it:

1. Live in the present moment.
2. Be silent.
3. Meditate.
4. Sit silently and do nothing. (What??)

The list is endless. I'm sorry but i beg to differ.
The problem is more complex and the remedies are simple eh?

That's the reason i'm writing. I'll try and get rid of my existential worries by sharing with you and hope you too live in peace.
So i guess the first thing is to

1. Start to demystify existence and please........SLOW DOWN
